Children love to run and play around and they are eager to explore the world. Playgrounds are the ideal place for developing their motor and social skills.

Play-tec is made of polyethylene and is suitable for playground equipment.

The most important thing is that this play equipment is safe and suitable for children. But it is also important for parents to know that it is safe while their little ones are enjoying new experiences.

When planning and designing playgrounds, designers should take this into account from the very beginning.
That is why Play-Tec® was developed specifically for the design of playgrounds. Play-Tec® meets the high demands placed on play materials.

Features

• Strictest safety requirements:
  In their urge to explore, children treat playground equipment with anything but caution. For this reason, the materials used in playgrounds must be absolutely safe. This means:
  No risk of injury from playground elements, splintering or breaking of the material used. No risk of harmful ingredients in the material itself.
  
  It poses no risk of injury and was successfully tested by the technical inspection body TÜV NORD CERT GmbH according to DIN EN 71-3, -9, -10, -11. In addition, Play-Tec® fulfils the requirements of the GS specification AFP GS 2014: 01 PAH "Testing and evaluation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in relation to the award of the GS mark".
• Long service life:
  Playground equipment must be able to withstand rain, sun, wind and dirt throughout the year. Play-Tec® is specially designed for outdoor use. The high quality of the product results in a very long life span. Even after 10 years there is no sign of material brittleness.
• Low maintenance costs:
  Play-Tec® requires very little maintenance. Graffiti and dirt adhere poorly to the surface and can be easily removed with conventional cleaning agents. Even scratches are almost invisible as the material is coloured through and through.
• Colourful:
  Children love colour. That is why Play-Tec® is available in all RAL colours in one, two or three colours.

• Testing accelerated weathering:
  Even after 2000 hours of xenon accelerated weathering (DIN EN ISO 4892-2), Play-Tec® retains its vivid colours.
  The test simulates the effects and the time span of the most important climatic parameters such as UV radiation, heat, cold, moisture and precipitation.
