Lexan Thermoclear is a channel plate made of the very strong polycarbonate. The sheet is UV-resistant on both sides and virtually unbreakable. Because of its low weight and great rigidity, Lexan Thermoclear is extremely suitable as a glazing plate for your veranda, roof or conservatory. The plate has a good insulating effect and gives an attractive light spread. Also because of the excellent temperature and orphan resistance, you are assured of economically high-quality glazing material.
Lexan Thermoclear is available in the colours Clear, Opal, Bronze or Solar Control IR (heat-resistant). As standard we supply polycarbonate with the rectangular channels: 10 mm double-walled and 16 mm triple-walled. This has the most light incidence (clear) and a calm appearance. The thicker sheets are almost always with an X-structure. The most common thicknesses are 10 and 16 mm. The standard width is 980 mm or 1050 mm (with 16 mm thickness).
