A Plexiglas mirror plate is the perfect replacement for an 'ordinary' standard mirror. Plexiglas is much stronger than glass, it is even practically unbreakable.
An advantage over ordinary mirrors is that it is much lighter in weight and easy to process.
These mirror plates are used where glass mirrors are too heavy, or where the risk of shards is too great. These plates are also UV resistant and are cheaper than glass!
This PMMA mirror plate is available from Kunststof Forte Belgium in 3 mm thickness and in various sizes and colours. In addition to the common types such as silver and gold, we also have other colours in stock.
Flexibility
These Plexiglas mirror plates are very flexible, therefore they also need a smooth and solid surface in order not to deform. Otherwise you may create a laughter mirror effect. If you place the plate on a 100% flat surface, you can prevent this.
Applications
Glass mirrors are often too heavy or too prone to breakage. Therefore, people often choose a Plexiglas mirror.
