Primo® XT transparent acrylic tubes
Kunststof Forte Belgium has a large stock of acrylic tubes. They are also called Plexiglas® or Perspex® tubes. With these extruded transparent tubes you can choose from different diameters (Ø 40 mm up to 200 mm) and wall thicknesses varying from 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm. The standard length is 2 metres.
The tubes are optically pure and strong.
Acrylate is colourless, lightweight, rigid, practically unbreakable, easy to process and therefore a good alternative to glass.
Versato® GS (cast acrylic) pipes are optically purer than extruded transparent tubes. These extruded tubes may contain extrusion lines.
Applications
Acrylic transparent tubes are widely used in industrial construction. These transparent tubes are used in stand and exhibition construction, in furniture/interior design and mostly for technical applications (reactors).
The XT acrylic tubes are reasonably UV stable, but we do not recommend using them for long-term outdoor use. They will end up sticking.
