The compost bin roof is an option for covering the compost bin. It consists of loose gutter-shaped profiles that lie at a slight angle to the top of the compost bin. It allows the mature compost to breathe and largely eliminates rain.

This roof consists of 4 or more loose boards. These lie loose on top of the compost bin.
In this way, one or two boards can easily be pushed aside to fill the compost bin.

Description

The roof is an option for covering the compost bin. It consists of loose gutter-shaped profiles that lie at a slight angle to the top of the compost bin. It allows the ripe compost to breathe sufficiently and yet largely eliminates the rain. After all, favourable moisture and oxygen levels determine good composting.

This roof is not a whole, it consists of separate planks that lie loose on top of the compost bin.
In this way, one or two boards can easily be pushed aside to fill the compost bin.
